I am entranced
by you. And I am
not even a building.
And then again
I am a building
sense of self
dispersing over time.
When they asked me
to describe myself
I said I am
the opposite of an onion.
The man with the notepad
smiled and inquired
with his pen raised
like a tiny baton,
In the sense of not
having layers
or losing them?
And I smiled
and nodded,
Yes.
