Michael J. Galko is a Houston-based poet and scientist who works at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Both his science and his poetry explore wound healing and pain, using different approaches. He has poems published or forthcoming in descant, The Ocotillo Review, Poetry WTF!?, Right Hand Pointing, Gargoyle, The Rockvale Review, and the Broadkill Review.
