Wendy Vogel is a writer and curator based in New York, and is a spring 2018 visiting faculty member in the department of painting and printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. She contributes regularly to a variety of art and culture publications, including Artforum, art-agenda, Art in America, Art Review, BOMB, frieze, and Mousse. She was editor of the index magazine anthology index A to Z: art, design, fashion, film and music in the indie era (Rizzoli, 2014). She has organized or co-organized curatorial projects at the Hessel Museum at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College; Ku?nstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral, Bad Ems, Germany; The Kitchen, New York; Abrons Arts Center, New York; VOLTA New York; Baxter Street Camera Club of New York; and bitforms, New York.
