Another issue of Gulf Coast means another lively conversation about art and craft at the Printing Museum. Join internationally recognized artists, critics, and authors Roberto Tejada, Chitra Ganesh, Suzanne Bloom, and Raphael Rubinstein in a lively conversation about the book as art, artifact, its influence on writers and artists, and its future.
The evening’s events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served and copies of Gulf Coast’s most recent issue, with lovely letterpress covers designed and produced by Houston’s own Workhorse Printmakers/Spindletop Design, will be on view.
This event is funded through an Innovations grant from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts and is designed to bring together writers and artists to explore the connections and differences between their art and practice.
