
Adrienne Perry serves as the current Editor of Gulf Coast and her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Tidal Basin Review, Indiana Review, Copper Nickel, and Siecle 21. While Adrienne finishes her PhD in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Houston, she is at work on a novel and a collection of short stories.

Martin Rock is the author of Residuum, chosen as the Editor’s Choice for the Cleveland State University First Book Prize. His chapbooks include Dear Mark (Brooklyn Arts Press, 2013) and Fish, You Bird (Pilot, 2010), written with Philip D. Ischy. His poems have appeared in journals such as AGNI, The Missouri Review, Conduit, Best New Poets 2012, Black Warrior Review, and elsewhere. With Kevin Prufer and Martha Collins, he edited the Unsung Masters volume Catherine B. Davis: On the Life and Work of an American Master (Pleiades, 2015). He is Managing Editor for Gulf Coast and intermittently publishes the online journal Loaded Bicycle. Martin is working on translations of a number of books by Japanese poets and is Poet in Residence at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Carlos Herbert Hernandez is a Houstonian and avid YouTube autodidact, who regularly watches instructional videos on everything from javascript to guitar repair. He is an Inprint Fellow and was a 2015 Writespace Our Space contributor. He is pursuing his MFA at the University of Houston, where he serves as Gulf Coast's Digital Editor.

Erika Jo Brown is from New York. She is the author of the poetry collection I’m Your Huckleberry (Brooklyn Arts Press, 2015). She's currently a PhD candidate at the University of Houston, where she serves as a poetry editor and books editor for Gulf Coast.
